This course is for anyone wishing to know more about existing and emerging renewable energy technologies. The course is particularly suitable for householders, housing associations, teachers, local building control officers, housing developers and installers.
Subjects include:
• climate change and energy efficiency
• solar thermal water heating
• domestic scale biomass systems
• heat pumps
• wind power
• photo-voltaic systems
• micro-hydro power.
On completion of this course you will have gained a valuable insight into renewable energy and a certificate of achievement in renewable energy awareness.
