This course is designed to enable any responsible member of staff of a company involved in Portable Appliance Testing to understand the legal requirements for the maintenance of electrical equipment.

In addition the delegate will acquire the knowledge and skills to record the process. The training will enable you to:

  • State the legal requirements for the maintenance of electrical equipment
  • Determine the frequency of electrical testing procedures and record findings accurately
  • Record the results to meet legal requirements of the company
  • Ensuring an ongoing Training programme is in place.

It is important that you advise us at time of booking of any special requirements and/or arrangements you may need to complete the examination.  So that we can advise awarding body in advance.

Duration: 1.5 Days or 2 Evenings

Cost: £170 (+ £40 course textbook)

Qualifications

City and Guilds - Level 3 Certificate on Management of Electrical Equipment Maintenance

Entry requirements

Completion of PAT testing - Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment 1 day course.
All applicants must be 18 years or older at the start of the course.
