Any operative who does not hold a CPA1 certificate from the 1st of April 2011 will have their CEN1 and HTR1 removed from their Gas Safe card. It is a manufacturer's requirement for commissioning and testing many new boilers.
Training is optional as operatives can undertake assessment only. Assessments conducted independently of training under control of CITB. Candidates must be in possession of a valid CCN1 or ACOP 1-5 before undertaking these assessments.
After successful completion of the course, you may progress onto Domestic Gas Appliance Assessment - CPA1
